Henry & Betty Lou
Henry Keat was in love and wanted to marry Betty Lou. Finally the day
arrived and he popped the question. Betty Lou said yes and they set a date
for their wedding. At the last minute Betty Lou got cold feet and backed
out.
A month later she changed her mind and agreed to marry Henry again. At the
last minute she backed out again. A month later the scene played out again.
Finally Parson Brown had had enough, pulling Betty Lou aside he sat her down
to talk to her.
"Parson, I love the way Henry treats me. He sweeps me off my feet and makes
me want to marry him. But then later on I look at him and realize I can't
spend my life with this man. But then he comes around and sweeps me off my
feet again."
"Girl," he replied, "If you cant stand the Keat, stay out of the hitchen."
